Advani says: "If you have moved into some good, profitable government companies over the last six months, you have done very well and that is where we should continue to go even now."
Pashupati Advani says: “The public sector is driving the boost in the economy. One should be bullish on those enterprises. Plus, the government will probably sell some shares off in the secondary markets. Some of them are even looking interesting to buy at these levels because I am presuming the government will want to sell at higher levels.”
“I am still very comfortable with infrastructure, cement, steel and a little bit of pharma because pharma also seems to be doing well and I am not so wild about IT and I have missed the banking sector totally. I am actually not so great about banks but they seem to have jumped up a lot.”
“BEML is a good stock. It is being run properly and it is doing well. They have also got a niche where they are going into some new technologies, which also has been very innovative from the government side. It is high earnings, high dividend paying candidate for potential disinvestment. It ticks all the buttons, as does Coal India , whicj is the best candidate for getting the dividends and perhaps even selling off a few percent of stock into the market. ”
