In 1934, Bert Getz’s forebears in the family firm donated 330 animals to the fledgling Brookfield Zoo, which until then had only five animals, all baboons. The animals came from a Michigan zoo they owned. Getz did not respond to a request for comment. John Baylor, the @properties agent representing the property, said the house was was built in 2010 by Merit Homes, a Globe subsidiary where Getz is co-CEO.
