Alice Echo News Journal SAN DIEGO - The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) Glossbrenner Unit in Duval County currently has a total of 61 inmates who have tested positive for COVID-19 and four TDCJ employees. The prison has a total of 377 inmates in medical isolation to reduce the spread of the virus. "The TDCJ will do random surveillance testing and a larger than normal percentage was recorded after the site testing at the Glossbrenner Unit.
