The Supreme Court expressed worries about the extended investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) into the money laundering case related to the excise policy and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The court instructed the investigating agency to show the case files from before and after Kejriwal's arrest, highlighting the importance of transparency in the investigation process.
A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Datta also asked the ED to produce case files before and after the arrest of Delhi's former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, who is also an accused in the case.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday granted no relief to Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in the excise policy scam case. The matter has now been scheduled for next Thursday.
