05/13/21 An Iowa City man has been arrested after chasing another man in broad daylight and firing shots at him. Police say the incident occurred in the 1100 block of Hollywood Boulevard just after noon Wednesday. Police say 55-year-old Antonio Jackson exited the front door of his house and then is seen running after a man who was standing in the middle of the street. On Monday, Judge Lars Anderson passed sentence on 22-year-old Keith Wittmon-Anderson. Man Murdered at Cedar Rapids Hotel The Cedar Rapids Police Department continues to investigate an early-morning murder at a hotel on the city's northeast side. According to a media release, a 911 call was received into the City of Cedar Rapids' Joint Communications Agency just after midnight Monday morning.
