October 6, 1940 - April 14, 2024 A memorial service for Chuck and his daughter, Barb, was held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024, at the Lu Verne United Methodist Church. Burial was held in the Lu Verne Township Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 18 at the Lu Verne United Methodist Church.
On Aug. 10, 2023, Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary that occurred at Gold Eagle CoOp in Titonka. Deputies responded to the area and began an investigation. That same night burglaries occurred in Winnebago County, Iowa and Faribault County, Minn. After a detailed investigation working with multiple agencies throughout Minnesota, Nebraska and Iowa investigators developed individuals suspected of multiple burglaries in Minnesota, Nebraska and Iowa.
