Google laid off at least 200 of its "Core" employees and is now considering moving some of those positions to India and Mexico.
As Google CEO Sundar Pichai recently said, more layoffs are expected to come this 2024. Just recently, Alphabet's secret research lab X has also experienced the same fate.
Alphabet-owned Google plans to reorganize a big part of its 30,000-person ad sales unit, The Information reported on Tuesday, citing a person with knowledge of the situation.
