香港支联会周六公布，支联会常委会在多番商议后，决定减少常委数目，以及于本月底全面遣散所有支联会职员。
支联会指出，过去一年，香港政治环境急剧转坏，支联会坚持基本原则与信念，不时评估政治形势变化作出应对，经多番商议后，决议作出两方面“防风”措施，包括策略性减少常委数目，现届支联会常委已由历届20名减至14名，决定再减少常委数目。近日，现届常委中先后有7人表示辞任支联会常委职务，包括蔡耀昌、麦海华、卢伟明、黄志强、伦智伟、梁国华和赵恩来，以上7人请辞后，现届支联会常委数目将减少一半，仅7名常委仍留任，包括现时正失去人身自由的主席李卓人及副主席何俊仁和邹幸彤。
