The Wayne County Board of Commissioners have set a public hearing for an economic incentive grant for Goshen Engineering that is set to expand operations in Mount Olive.
GOSHEN — Goshen Board of Public Works members approved the promotion of Zachary Bechtel from police patrol officer to sergeant, retroactive to Dec. 1.
Seven grants totaling more than $2.6 million from the North Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) will lead to some 321 jobs - 130 more than already announced - and lead to private investment of nearly $54 million, according to Gov. Roy Cooper.
