Eleanor was born November 25, 1927 to Ernest and Lydia (Winter) Miller of Carmi. Eleanor graduated from Carmi Township High School in 1945. She married Vernon Hubele on October 25, 1946. She worked at numerous part-time jobs while raising her 3 children. She later attended cosmetology school and became a beautician.
