Two people charged in 2020 Chickasha double homicide

Two people are charged in connection to the murder of a woman and her unborn child. Wednesday, the Grady County District Attorney filed two counts of First-Degree Murder against 37-year-old Kenneth Lee Johnson. Johnson’s wife, 39-year-old Katrina Johnson, was also charged for Accessory to Murder in the First Degree.

Chickasha man sentenced to 125 years for domestic abuse, kidnapping

AND WHEN THEY APPROACHED THE FRONT DOOR, THEY HEARD SOMEONE CALLING FOR HELP. PATRINA: BROOK ARBEITMAN WITH OSBI SAYS AUTHORITIES FORCED THEIR WAY INSIDE THE HOME AND FOUND FOUR PEOPLE WITH STAB WOUNDS. 67-YEAR-OLD LEON PYE AND HIS 4-YEAR-OLD GRANDDAUGHTER FOUND DEAD. >> THE 4-YEAR-OLD WAS THERE, VISITING HER GRANDPARENTS WHICH WERE THE PYES. PATRINA: LEON’S WIFE DELCI WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL WITH NON-LIFE THREATENING INJURIES. ARBEITMAN SAYS THEIR OSBI INVESTIGATORS, WERE CALLED IN TO ASSIST. >> THE SUBJECT, WHO IS BELIEVED TO HAVE COMMITTED THE CRIME, IS A NEPHEW OF MR. PYES. PATRINA: SHE SAYS THE NEPHEW, WHO DID NOT LIVE AT THE HOME, ALSO HAD STAB WOUNDS AND WAS LATER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY. >> HE’S STILL BEING TREATED IN THE HOSPITAL, BUT HE IS TECHNICALLY IN CUSTODY. AND WHEN HE’S RELEASED FROM THE HOSPITAL, HE WILL GO TO GRADY COUNTY. PATRINA: KOCO NOT NAMING HIM UNTIL FORMALLY CHARGED. BUT RECORDS SHOW THE 42-YEAR-OLD WAS SCHEDULED TO APPEAR IN COURT TODAY, FOR A MISDEMEANOR ASSAULT AND BATTERY CHARGE. >> IT IS STILL A VERY NEW INVESTIGATION AND WITH HIM BEING IN THE HOSPITAL AND EVERYTHING WE’RE STILL TRYING TO WORK TO DETERMINE WHAT THE CAU
