Granada hooks Hywind Tampen davit crane job
UK company Granada Material Handling has secured a davit crane contract with Aker Solutions for Equinor's 88MW Hywind Tampen floating wind project. Manchester-based Granada Material Handling will design, manufacture, third party-certify and commission 11 davit crane units for use on the floating offshore wind farm’s platforms. The company is already now looking to place orders and sub-contract specialist areas of work to other UK businesses and will deliver the crane units over a six-month period, it said.
