Several more Women’s County League champions were declared at the weekend, including Sport London E Benfica who won on goal-difference.
Dorset – Holt United were champions with a 100% record after storming to an 11-2 win at Shaftesbury Town, with Gemma Mountain leading the way with six goals.
Greater London – Sport London E Benfica pipped Headstone Manor to the Division 1 North title by a margin of three in goal-difference after Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Tower Hamlets.
Leicestershire – Nuneaton Borough became Division 2 champions with a 4-0 result at second-placed Hinckley, their eleventh win on the trot.
