Work resumed last month after Braintree Council appointed a new contractor to complete the pedestrianisation scheme. As a result new paving has now been laid along the main High Street. Over the Bank Holiday, resin has also been applied which completes a section of the High Street from Natural Way all the way up to the lower end of Bank Street outside George Yard Shopping Centre.
