Hands On Nashville seeking volunteers to help flood victims

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) â Hands On Nashville (HON) says itâs seeking volunteers to help out this weekend with FEMA s Multi-Agency Recovery Centers at Plaza Mariachi.
These centers will answer questions, share info and give resources to survivors, according to Hands On Nashville. Volunteers will help with parking and directions.
If you are flooding survivor and would like to apply for help from FEMA, there is still time. Damages from the storms, including tornadoes and flooding, needed to happen between March 25 Through April 3.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) â The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) is opening three Multi-Agency Recovery Centers this weekend to help those impacted by the March floods.
TEMA says the centers will be located in Davidson, Williamson and Wilson Counties. Reps from FEMA, TEMA, the U.S. Small Business Administration and local agencies will be there to provide more information on disaster assistance programs, plus information on how to apply for disaster assistance and also direct people to other programs where they can get help.
NASHVILLE,
Tenn. – Twenty-three Tennessee counties will receive federal recovery assistance under a Major Disaster Declaration in place today as a result of the severe weather and flooding across the state on March 27, and March 28, 2021. I appreciate our local, state, and federal partners working so quickly, in difficult situations, to gather damage estimates and information so we are able to receive this federal relief from what was Tennessee’s second major disaster in 2021,” Gov. Bill Lee said.
The 23 counties included in the Major Disaster Declaration are Campbell, Cannon, Cheatham, Claiborne, Clay, Davidson, Decatur, Fentress, Grainger, Hardeman, Henderson, Hickman, Jackson, Madison, Maury, McNairy, Moore, Overton, Scott, Smith, Wayne, Williamson, and Wilson counties.
