FRANKLIN FURNACE, OHIO A suspect in a multi-jurisdiction pursuit that began in northeastern Kentucky and ended with shots fired in Scioto County Sunday is presumably on the loose in the Columbus area, according to the Scioto County Sheriff.
Lewis County Sheriff Johnny Bivens confirmed Tuesday that the suspect is 48-year-old Tracy Rickett.
The Scioto County Sheriff’s Office confirmed later Tuesday Rickett is of Portsmouth, Ohio, and was wanted on a bench warrant in Scioto County, as well as warrants in Portsmouth Municipal Court and the current charges relating to the chase.
Sheriff David Thoroughman confirmed the Ohio Bureau of Investigation has also opened an officer-involved shooting investigation in connection with the chase that ended at Franklin Furnace. In a Tuesday press release, the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office stated officers from both agencies had opened fire, but no one was injured. ....
