Rice got the word sunday morning that he would no longer be at the helm of the runnin rebels. He took the rebels to the ncdoublea tourney in his first two years, but has missed making it to the big dance the last two seasons. This move comes after the 97 rebels lost five of six and started 03 in Mountain West play. During rices tenure, he led the rebs to a 9854 record.
