First Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids celebrates 175 years
The church, which formed downtown in 1847, has been an active advocate of social justice, housed many social services agencies, and was integral in the creation of Cedar Rapids landmarks like Coe College and Geneva Tower. Today, the church is looking toward a goal of supporting people in Cedar Rapids who are unhoused.
