Mallory Aronstein, Town Administrator, said the funding requests on the warrant “will help us to better serve the needs of our community."
General Manager Steve Simmons said the the $1 million-plus renovation will include a repaved lot, new turf field, a deep cleaning and more.
The town is preparing to return the Somerset Marsh to its ice skating glory. Highway Department workers have already cut back reeds and high grasses.
Residents will vote Oct. 24 at Special Town Meeting on approving funding for the renovation and expansion of the town public library on Main Street.
