With all the basketball talent playing in the Northern Buckeye Conference last winter, an Otsego player commented that Lake 6-foot-6 senior forward Cam Hoffman was the hardest to guard.
The Lake baseball team has just two players with varsity experience, but coach Greg Wilker says “we expect four seniors to lead us to a competitive season.”
The Eastern Maumee Bay Community already has one lineman in the NFL — Curtice native Michael Deiter (Genoa/Wisconsin), a 25-year-old, 6-foot-6, 315-pound center and guard for the Miami Dolphins.
