A taxi driver in Kenai, Alaska, spotted the rare bird near his home in June.
“Whether it’s good or bad depends on the tradition," said a local photographer who's been documenting the bird.
An unusually colored raven has been turning heads around the central Kenai Peninsula for the last few weeks — standing out from the crowd with bright white feathers.
