MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Stanley Walter Stanford, 94, of Milford, beloved husband of 67 years to Greta (Linz) Stanford, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2020.
Born on May 22, 1926 in New Haven, CT, he was the son of the late Gregory F. Stanford and Lillian (Horne) Stanford.
Red graduated from New Haven High School (Hillhouse High) in 1944 and enlisted in the Air Force.

He served through the end of World War II as an aircraft mechanic. Stan was a long-time electrical assembler of US Motors Emerson Electric of Milford and culminated his career at United Technologies Sikorsky in Stratford Connecticut. ....
