Greta this is on the record. thursday the president urged congress to overhaul the system in his first speech on the issue since taking office. greta sat down with newt gingrich to get his take on the president s plan. greta: nice to see you. the president had a speech yesterday on immigration. what did you think of it? first of all he should have had a speech on jobs. because the economy is the number one concern of the country. he keeps finding everything else he can to talk about to avoid having to confront how bad the economy is. second, the only thing he had to say about immigration is he s going to control the border. he didn t say it. the morning the american people believe that the united states government is going to the border, they will be prepared to talk about immigration reform. until then they are going to resent a commander in chief who doesn t protect the country and keeps trying to pursue what i think is a political agenda. ....
