Groceries Code Adjudicator (GCA) Mark white has kicked off the new year with a survey to gauge how the sector is operating against the challenging backdrop of COVID-19 and Brexit.

Christine Tacon has been appointed chair of Assured Food Standards, operator of the Red Tractor Assurance scheme. Tacon, who was previously Groceries Code adjudicator, will take up the role on 1 January 2021. She replaces Dame Lucy Neville-Rolfe, whose tenure in the post ended in November.
