Turkey, syria, and all forms of the kurds have been fighting for centuries. We have done them a great service, and weve done a great job for all of them. Now were getting out. This is a story about a single decision that would reshape the map of the middle east, tarnish the United States reputation around the world, threaten Americas National security, and leave a staunch ally feeling like it was hung out to dry.
