Hanover Township will host its annual Fall Food Truck Festival on Sept. 14 at the township's William Tiknis Campus, 250 S. Route 59, Bartlett.

Events to put on your calendar this week include Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons performing Saturday at the Rosemont Theatre, Rob Schneider doing standup at the Chicago Improv, food truck festivals in Aurora and Naperville, and The Opener, an Automotive Showcase at the Lake County Fairgrounds.

Aurora's First Fridays will kick off the start of the food truck season with its annual Food Truck Festival on May 5. Held by Aurora Downtown, the popular and free event will welcome more than two dozen food trucks to Benton Street.

Beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, Benton Street’s west and east bridges will be filled with nearly 30 food trucks offering a variety of options including barbecue, hot dogs, pizza, tamales, ice cream and more.
