Will Utah host the Olympics? Decision on Winter Games might be years away
International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach has ruled out awarding the 2034 Winter Games at the same time the IOC decides whether Salt Lake City, Sapporo, Japan, or Vancouver, Canada, will host the 2030 Winter Games. Bach said the IOC should wait until after his term as president ends in 2025 to choose the 2034 Winter Games host.
