New Vermont travel and school guidance


Travel Guidance Update
Governor Phil Scott on Friday announced a welcomed update to the state’s travel quarantine policy. This change represents an important turning point in the COVID-19 pandemic. 
Effective Tuesday, February 23rd, people who are fully vaccinated and at least 14 days out from their final vaccine dose can travel to and from Vermont without quarantine restrictions. In addition, a fully-vaccinated person who comes in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 will not be required to quarantine.

Music in Schools Guidance Released

Vaccine portal for 75+ opens Monday


COVID-19 Vaccine Update
Vermont Business Magazine The Agency of Human Services and Department of Health has announced that the portal for people 75+ to schedule an appointment to be vaccinated will open on Monday, January 25th. A link to make an appointment and a phone number will be announced on Monday morning. Visit the Department of Health website for full details and FAQs about the process.
The VDH is also reporting Sunday 148 new cases of COVID-19 and one more death for 170 total statewide.
Travel Map Update
With continued high COVID-19 case counts across the northeast, the Department of Financial Regulation (DFR) has discontinued updates to the Cross State Travel Map. Quarantine remains required for all people returning to or visiting Vermont indefinitely. In its place, DFR has released a new regional heatmap to identify COVID-19 hot spots across the northeast. Be prepared, PPP fully opens on Tuesday


PPP Update
As the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) opens the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) application portal to lenders, ACCD is encouraging businesses to explore applying for the more than $284 billion has been allocated to this program nationally.
Friday, the portal was opened to lenders with $1 billion or less in assets for First and Second Draw applications. The portal will fully open on Tuesday, January 19th to all participating PPP lenders to submit First and Second Draw loan applications to the SBA.
