Letters to the editor (Jan. 25, 2021) The Ledger Vote to ensure Jan. 6 never happens again After the riots at the Capitol building, it is time to ask ourselves "What we've learned?" In 2016, 58% of eligible voters voted. The results were obvious. In 2020, 67% of eligible voters voted and the results changed. We need to understand that the comment "My vote doesn't matter" is totally incorrect. Every vote matters. Zealots and fanatics are angry people who tend to vote in high percentages while complacent, happy and content voters go to the beach. If you really want your vote to "not matter," ...
