The Virginia Department of Transportation announced that starting Friday at 10 p.m., Exit 265C to Rip Rap Road will be closed to construction crews can continue work on the Hampton segment of the Hampton Roads Express Lanes.
The area initially impacted is I-64 in Hampton between Rip Rap Road and Mallory Street. This project is expected to be underway until 2026 and additional closures and shifts are planned.
