Endangered Bats Preparing to Move Out of Hannibal
After a long winter’s slumber, the bats that make their home in Hannibal’s caves have awakened and preparing to move on to their summer homes. That makes this the prime time to see the endangered Indiana bats before they migrate.
The Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a night hike through Sodalis Nature Preserve at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23. The program will feature the life cycle of bats.
