Allendale Challenge 2021 event cancelled
The Allendale Challenge 2021 event has been cancelled. Everybody who was signed up for the event will be automatically deferred to next year’s event, organisers North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team said in a Facebook post. If they don’t wish to participate next year, they are offering a full refund of their entry fee. The challenge, considered by many to be one of the toughest challenge walks, raises funds for the rescue team. The 26 mile (42km) course is very popular and sells out every year.
