The city of Abilene is anticipating an increase in individuals seeking COVID-19 vaccinations as eligibility requirements shift to those age 50 and older. "That opens it up to a new group of people," said Annette Lerma, director of the Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District. "You do not have to have any other qualifying condition, you just have to be at least 50 years old."
