BMTC Tata Motors Electric Buses: BMTC officials said they will induct 921 Tata e-buses by March 2024 as part of the Centre's Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles (FAME-II) scheme.

bmtc: Charging up: BMTC gets 921 new electric buses
Under the FAME-II scheme of the Government of India, BMTC will operate these 12.0 meters long, low-floor electric buses with a floor height of 400 mm. With comfortable seating for 35 passengers, these buses ensure easy entry and exit due to their low-floor configuration. BMTC participated in the Grand Challenge to add 1500 electric buses to its fleet.
