REM Offshore's Wind Service Vessel To Feature NES

Havyard Group s subsidiary Norwegian Electric Systems (NES) has won a contract to deliver energy design and smart control solution to Rem Offshore’s new vessel for the offshore wind service market. The contract was awarded by Green Yard Kleven who is building the vessel.
According to NES, the vessel will be the first in this segment with a fully-integrated NES bridge system.

Esvagt new SOV ready MHI Vestas charter - reNews - Renewable Energy News

Esvagt s latest service operation vessel (SOV) is ready to start work for MHI Vestas on the Borssele 3&4 and Northwester 2 offshore wind farms off the Netherlands and Belgium, respectively.
The Danish shipper said the NHST-146, which is the first of three new-builds for the company, has been ready at its base port of Ostend since 8 January.
All three vessels have had the hulls built in the Cemre Shipyard in Turkey, after which Havyard completes the ships in Norway.
The next two SOVs are to be delivered later in 2021.
Esvagt said that completion of NHST-146 was not a typical process.
Project director Gerner Eskelund said: “Firstly, Havyard Shipyard was affected by a financial crisis that stopped work at the shipyard for months. ....

Norsk Fisketransport AS took delivery of a new Havyard wellboat dubbed Reisa, a boat that is designed to offer greater salmon capacity and enhanced fish welfare.
All told, four Havyard ships have been delivered so far, and two more are scheduled for delivery from Havyard New Ship Technology to Norsk Fisketransport AS (NFT) later this year.
Reisa has a circular tank capacity of 3,250 cubic metres. Kjetil Myren, the designer with responsibility for the wellboat segment at Havyard Design & Solutions, said that circular tanks enable the vessel to transport larger quantities of fish while ensuring calmer conditions and higher survival rates, thereby enhancing fish welfare. Fosnavåg, Norway, headquartered Rem Offshore AS has signed a contract for its first offshore wind market vessel. The 89.7 meter by 19.6 meter Construction Service Vessel has been ordered at Green Yard Kleven, as the former Kleven Verft in Ulsteinvik is now known following its acquisition by the Green Yard Group.

The ship is being built to a Havyard Design & Solutions AS design. Featuring a W2W (Walk to Work) gangway and three cranes, it will provide accommodations for 99 people,
It is designed with a weather deck and automated warehouse below deck for spare parts and materials and will be prepared for future zero emissions operations with fuel cells and/or energy storage (batteries) ....
