It seems as if winter is in full force across Quebec as we await the biggest snowstorm of the season. The snowstorm is expected to impose several meteorological hazards, including snowfall and a possible freezing rain weather warning from Environment Canada.
Despite being hit with our fair share of snow over the weekend, Montreal is now anticipating even more snowfall and the possibility of freezing rain. In fact, Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for the Greater Montreal Area.
Montreal received its fair share of snowfall this past weekend but the snowfall isn't over yet. Despite Eastern Canada receiving a rather mild start to the winter, it appears as if the weather forecast is now catching up to the colder season.
While Montreal officially received its first snowstorm of the season in early December, it appears as if we won't be having another snowfall for quite a while, ruling out the possibility of a white Christmas in Montreal.
