The death of 11 Covid-19 patients due to oxygen shortage at Tirupati’s SVR Ruia hospital has sparked an outrage as scores of netizens took to online to vent out their anger. #ResignJagan has been trending India-wide since the tragedy news broke out last night. Many from AP have condoled the deaths and blamed YS Jagan-led AP government over its failure.
While the AP government has ordered an inquiry into the incident, people have busted their anger online. Over 20,000 tweets were reported with the #ResignJagan hashtag.

Two supervisors died on the spot and four others are battling for life with severe burn injuries after a 3,000-kg capacity reactor blew up reportedly owing to heavy pressure at Tyche Industries Limited’s pharma unit at Sarpavaram, on the outskirts of Kakinada, in East Godavari district on Thursday.
East Godavari District Collector D. Muralidhar Reddy said the deceased had been identified as Kakarla Subramanyam (31) of Tallarevu mandal, and Thotakura Venkata Ramana (37) of Gollaprolu mandal in East Godavari district. The duo were engaged in the production of the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) when the incident occurred.

West Godavari: Andhra Pradesh State Deputy Chief Minister and Medical Health Minister got serious over the death of a mother of a newborn due to medical malpractice in Velerupadu.
Minister Alla Nani inquired about the details of the incident from DMHO Dr. Sunanda. Legal action will be taken if RMPs provide over-the-counter treatment anywhere across the state.
State Health Minister Alla Nani has ordered an inquiry into Srinivas Nursing Home Hospital in Velerupadu, West Godavari district. He also directed DMHO Dr. Sunanda to take action against the RMP doctor responsible for a woman's postpartum death. They informed that they have appointed a senior gynecologist to investigate the death of a newborn's mother.
