FOND DU LAC - The county s first COVID-19 vaccine clinic for residents age 65 and older was filled in less than one day, Fond du Lac County Health Department said Wednesday afternoon. The department received an overwhelming response after announcing on Tuesday the COVID-19 vaccination clinic, set for Jan. 27, Health Officer Kim Mueller said in a Wednesday press release. If you do not receive a call back by the end of this week, you will be placed on a waitlist for future clinics, Mueller said. We ask for your patience in this process. FOND DU LAC – COVID-19 vaccines will be rolled out to portions of the public, beginning Jan. 27, in the city of Fond du Lac. Fond du Lac County Health Department, in partnership with Emergency Management and Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds, will hold COVID-19 vaccination clinics specific for individuals age 65 and older on Jan. 27 at Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds Expo Center. This marks another step into Phase 1b of the vaccine rollout. Police and fire personnel began receiving vaccines this week, Health Officer Kim Mueller said. Currently, vaccine rollout is for those in Phase 1a and specific groups within Phase 1b.
