Voters in Baker selected Robert Young as their new District 4 council representative on Saturday, April 27. East Baton Rouge Parish residents also OK'd two tax propositions.
The race for District 4 Councilmember in the city of Baker is a runoff between Robert Young and Toni Jackson. Both are Democrats. Two local tax proposals also are on the ballot.
BATON ROUGE — Last week, voters elected a new East Baton Rouge Parish School Board member, reelected Baker s mayor and secured the presidential nominees. Next month they will return to the polls to decide on multiple municipal ordinances and local leadership positions.
