James ‘Jim’ Robert Sitton was a cousin to many. Jim was born on October 18, 1946 in Portland, Oregon. He grew up in Worthington, Minnesota with his mother, Dorothy Sitton, and his grandparents, Hazel and Henry Hawkinson, who all preceded him in death. He graduated from Worthington High School in 1964 and earned his Eagle Scout award in Boy Scouts. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus with a degree in Mathematics.
