Beckenham: Victorian heritage campaign opposes flats
A campaign has been launched in opposition to a new residential development dubbed “HMP Beckenham” in a bid to preserve the area’s Victorian heritage. A planning application has been lodged to knock down a brick building on Bromley Road, last used as a care home, replacing it with 27 flats across two blocks.
