Plano and other cities are voting according to guidance from a steering committee of more than 140 cities in north and central Texas that Oncor serves, city documents state. The committee is preparing a uniform response to Oncor’s request and will work together on future negotiations or potential litigation. ....

The approvals took place at the council’s May 24 meeting, with work expected to begin on the alley projects within the next few months and timetables for the other two projects under development. ....

LaRosiliere asked Muns to remember that being mayor is a 24/7 role that he will be in no matter where he goes. To illustrate his point, the former mayor said he often worked as late as midnight or 3 a.m. and would sign his emails “Mayor ADED, and it meant All Day, Every Day.” ....
The following calls for service were received recently by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department. On Tuesday, December 22, at about 11:33 hours, Lt. Pete Bastardo was dispatched to High Mesa in regards to theft. After speaking with the victim, it was discovered a burglary of building had occurred. A report was taken with no suspects to list. On Wednesday, December 23, at about 13:48 hours, Deputy Simpson took a phone call in regards to illegal dumping. The complainant stated trash was on both sides of the county road and is flying on to other people’s properties. Deputy Simpson went to County Road 178 in Bangs to investigate the claim. A report was made for illegal dumping. ....
