Bend Police are investigating a robbery that happened early Tuesday at Ashley's Cafe North in Wagner Mall. According to police: On December 28th at 2:02am, Officers with the Bend Police Department responded to the report of a robbery that had just occurred at 1900 NE 3rd Street #100. Officers arrived after the suspect had fled the area. Officers learned that the suspect purported to have a weapon during the robbery. An undisclosed amount of currency was taken during the robbery. Installation of Highway Warning Systems are underway in the Terrebonne area. Installation & commissioning of radar detection signs will be occurring at NW Lower Bridge Way between NW 12th Street and NW 31st Street. Road users should anticipate single lane closures facilitated by flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes during work hours. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
