Louisiana's new hurricane survivor sheltering program could be a model for the future
Terrebonne Parish is currently operating four base camps in Houma, Dulac, Chauvin, and Montegut for people without housing after Hurricane Ida. The base camps are free for residents, and are first come, first served until they reach capacity.
