425,000+ NHS patients use online GP registration service
Since its launch in August 2022, the Register with a GP Surgery service has seen more than 425,000 NHS patients use the online service, which offers convenient access to GP registration. The service is managed by NHS England. Almost half (48%) of all the registrations in its first year were recorded outside of doctors' surgery opening times, demonstrating the demand for a more convenient way to register with a GP surgery.
