Former Miss UL missed out on many traditional opportunities due to COVID-19
Reigning as Miss University of Louisiana at Lafayette (Miss UL) is normally an overwhelmingly positive experience, but thanks to COVID-19, Troie Ackerâs experience was somewhat bittersweet. Typically, Miss UL spends much of her reign hosting various events across campus, but COVID-19 restrictions led to many of these events being severely compromised or cancelled altogether.
