University of Sydney proposes to cut 25 Philosophy units in 2025
In a submission to the Undergraduate Studies Committee, the University has proposed 12 2000-level and 13 3000-level units in the Philosophy department be cut or merged.

University changes Fisher Library's public opening hours amidst ongoing student protests
The University of Sydney has modified the public opening hours of Fisher Library this week. As of Monday, the Library is now open to non-students and staff between 9am to 5pm, shortened from the normal 8am opening time and 8pm closing time implemented throughout the semester.

Day 22 of USyd encampment: students protest weapons manufacturer Thales
At 1pm on Tuesday May 14, students from the Gaza solidarity encampment marched down Eastern Avenue to the Australian Centre for Field Robotics (ACFR) in protest of a new engineering scholarship funded by weapons manufacturer Thales.
