High Point: Child with kidney cancer surprised with playground
Updated: 6:52 PM EDT May 1, 2021 Volunteers with two organizations came together Saturday to build a playground as a surprise for a nearly 2-year-old boy with kidney cancer.Mickey Truck Bodies and Roc Solid Foundation worked together to build a new swing set in Luca's backyard as a way to bring him smiles as he goes through his treatments. The High Point family found out their son had a Wilm's tumor when his doctor felt a lump during a normal checkup.
