With enrolment expected to drop, the university might abandon infrastructure projects, suspend varsity teams and its music school could be in jeopardy.
From kindergartens to universities, the CAQ government has tried to revamp the anglophone school system, attempting to limit enrolment.
"I will listen to them," the premier says. "I will see this with them. But the principles will stay in place, but I will listen to them."
While the negative impact on economic well-being has been well noted, the racial injustice of this policy seems to have goneĀ unnoticed.
