SHEBOYGAN - Sheboygan County's Division of Public Health announced two COVID-19 deaths Monday, both people 80 or older. It's the first time the county reported multiple deaths in a day since early March and brings the county's total number of people who died from COVID-19 to 140. SHEBOYGAN - Sheboygan County reported the presence of another COVID-19 variant Wednesday, as well as the county's fourth death in the past two weeks.  The person whose death was reported Wednesday was in their 70s, bringing the county's total deaths to 138. The person whose death was reported Tuesday was in their 70s, bringing the county's total deaths to 137. According to data from the Department of Health Services, just over 47,000 — or almost 41% — of Sheboygan County residents had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
